MILKWOOD RODEO
In 2010 I spent three months living and performing with the Rajmahal Circus, a traditional Indian circus traveling between Mumbai and Pondicherry. I was hired through a social-circus initiative to replace the tiger act which had recently been banned. Mixing live animation, autobiographical text, and archived video footage Milkwood Rodeo tells a haunting, sad and surreal story of corruption, magic and the celestial worlds shared between India's Holy men and Hollywood.
